As we prepare to leave for India and then finally boarding our long flight home, we thought of sharing our final blog before we begin this journey.

Our last few days have been full of adventures and some spectacular views from the high mountains! The stay at Thimpu was restful which was much required before the final push through the trek.

The trek began with a steep climb that took us above the tree line and under the open skies! Followed by a long way down through the stunning Taktsang Monastary (Tigers nest). We are now back at Janka resort in Paro, preparing to close our trip and getting ready to begin our journey home tomorrow!
